EUDR

EUDR documentation readiness

We prepare origin, traceability and plot data to help importers build their due-diligence dossier.

  • Documented origin
  • GPS plots
  • DDS-ready dossier

What is the EUDR?

Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 governs the placing on the EU market of certain commodities, including cocoa and coffee. It requires due diligence based on origin data.

Why it matters for the buyer?

The operator placing the product on the EU market bears due-diligence responsibility. Data prepared upstream eases checks and reduces the compliance burden.

What we prepare

For each lot, we can structure plot data, producer information, export documents and the elements needed for the due-diligence dossier.

General, non-contractual information. The EUDR evolves and its application may vary depending on the buyer's National Competent Authority. This content is not legal advice.

Application timeline

EUDR deadlines vary by operator size. Here are the key dates to plan your due-diligence dossiers.

  1. 30 December 2026

    Large & medium-sized companies

Regulation applies to large and medium-sized companies.

  2. 30 June 2027

    Micro & small companies

Deferred application for micro and small companies.

  3. 31 December 2020

    Zero deforestation

Products must not come from land deforested after this date.

How Golden Beans collects and verifies

We collect field data from producers and collection points to link each lot to its origin. The goal is to structure information at plot level: GPS coordinates, producer, volume, quality, collection, storage and export documents.

Country risk classification

Official source required

Classification depends on the benchmarking system published by the European Union. Golden Beans relies on official sources available at the time the dossier is prepared.

Your questions on EUDR compliance

Find answers to the main questions buyers ask about traceability, due-diligence data and EUDR documents.

We structure due-diligence data: plot geolocation, proof of legality, post-2020 deforestation-free elements and lot-related documents. EUDR application varies depending on the buyer's competent authority; we remain factual and do not provide legal advice.

We prepare the data and documents required for the due-diligence dossier. The final declaration remains the responsibility of the operator concerned.

Yes, our approach targets plot-level traceability with GPS coordinates, documented boundaries and lot linkage.

We prepare available evidence and verification data. The final assessment depends on buyer requirements and competent authorities.

Yes, an example dossier can be shared on request to show the data available per lot.
